Q: What is Chery Super Hybrid?
Chery Super Hybrid (CSH) is a next generation plug-in hybrid system that overcomes traditional Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) limitations. The CSH offers increased electric range, faster charging, and smart battery management, delivering smooth performance from both electric and petrol power. It achieves this using an efficient dedicated Engine and Hybrid Transmission, optimising efficiency.
Q: How far can I go just on electric power?
CSH provides over 90km* of pure EV range. At low battery level, the vehicle automatically switches from EV mode to Hybrid mode, allowing uninterrupted driving.

Q: What types of EV charger are supported?
CSH supports both AC charging and DC fast charging.

Q: Can the car recharge while I'm driving?
When driving, the petrol engine can generate power that replenishes the battery. While braking, coasting or travelling downhill, the regeneration system will also convert kinetic energy (movement) into electrical energy to store in the battery. This helps to optimise the range.
Q: Do I need to plug it in to charge every day?
Daily charging is not required, as at low battery levels the vehicle automatically switches to hybrid petrol/electric mode. The CSH system prevents full depletion of the battery and ensures continuous driving experience of CSH.
Note: When the vehicle is running in Hybrid mode, the fuel consumption will increase.
Q: Would the CSH help me save on my fuel expenses?
Fuel savings will depend on the frequency of driving in electric mode and the source of electricity. With regular charging and short daily trips, the vehicle can be driven mostly on electric power, reducing petrol consumption over time.
